Motor Vehicle Accident - Laura R.

Where do I begin? First of all, I hope when this letter reaches you, it finds you and your family in the best of health. There are not enough words to express what or how I feel. Since I visited your office last, my life has taken a turn for the better road ahead. I can now tell you that a weight has been lifted up off my shoulders. Put it this way, I can finally get a good night rest, knowing that all the bills are paid. Thank you for taking the time to listen to my problems with the benefit of a doubt and not judging me.

I remember leaving your office with the check in my hand, the feeling that ran through my entire body was unexplainable, the feeling that was in my stomach was unexplainable. I was scared, happy, afraid and at the same time, excitement filled my whole body. My family and close friends were celebrating for me, and I could not saying WOW! WOW! WOW! I could not understand my behavior and neither could my family. I did know one thing though and that was making sure I did the right thing with the money. Your words kept on ringing in my ears saying "spend it wisely", "SPEND IT WISELY". I am proud to say after such a long battle and a rough journey it was a sweet sensation to finally pay off all the bills and get my life back. To be honest, it's just starting to sink in. I got myself a financial consultant that has been helping me. This success has even allowed me to be able to spend the quality time that is needed for my children.

As I said in the beginning, there are not enough words to express how I feel. All I know is that I wanted to share my experience with you. If it was not for you and your colleagues helping me out, I don't know where or what would have happened to me and my children. Thank you for your hard work, kindness and honesty. May god bless you and your family. Keep up the good work.

Car Accident Injury Case with Pre-accident Medical History

MP was involved in a rear end car accident. She worked as a dietary aide in a kitchen at a nursing home. As a result of the car accident she developed chronic back and neck pain that made it very difficult for her to carry substantially all of the duties of her employment. The complicating factor for MP was that she had an extensive WSIB (Workers Compensation) history for similar ailments. Despite her pre accident medical history, we were able to demonstrate that she would return to work during those instances and that is what differentiates the seriousness of the injuries from the car accident as opposed to her pre car accident medical history. We put together a very detailed brief, supported by medical experts, and we were able to come to a very satisfactory result at mediation to close this file and allow MP to move on with her life.

"The staff and lawyers were very courteous and extremely helpful in making my experience comfortable. I would recommend Allied Leagal and their team to all my family and friends.

Serious Car Accident

Our client was involved in a serious car accident when he was struck by a vehicle that went through a red light, striking our client’s car and causing his car to spin and then strike a utility pole and then a second utility pole. The client’s car was written off due to the substantial damage. The client was employed with a local manufacturer and was unable to return to his employment. We attended a settlement conference with the insurer but we maintained our position and refused to come to a resolution of the matter on the proposed terms. Several years later, after assisting the client with the continuation of treatment, and obtaining appropriate medical legal opinions, we were able to finally resolve the matter on more beneficial terms for our client.

"From the beginning Allied Legal made me feel like he not only cared for my family and I, but they understood and supported me whether they agreed with my decisions or not. The lawyer always had my best interests in the forefront. The office staff were always friendly and attentive and everyone involved strived to help make a very daunting process easy for me to understand, and as stress free as possible."
